Post 2 - Why did you choose this career/study programm?

Hi everyone!

In my childhood I remember that I loved the universe with its planets and stars. At the same time, I wanted to go to the moon. Mostly I wanted to become an astronaut or astronomer. Sadly, I was so bad in Mathematics.

Eventually, I found out that I like to read and write about countries and topical subjects.
Two years ago, at the moment of applying to university my other options were Law or Political Science. One person that helped me to choose my career was my best friend.

Currently, I am studying the Political Science's career in the Universidad de Chile.
My experience has been great! I have known nice people and I have learned a lot about career subjects. It's cool!

Finally, in the future I would like to have a job in a non-governmental organization or in a foundation!

See you soon!

  1. The law career is so boring, but the astronomy is very interesting! And there are many non-governmental organizations in Chile!

Post 6 - Future Studies

Hello everyone!   This is my last blog of my university career!    The truth is that I have not thought in detail about taking postgraduate courses. Clearly, I would love to be able to continue studying for the next few years of my life.    The reasons are clear. First of all, it would help me supplement my undergraduate degree. Second, I would learn and study new things from my study career, that is Political Science. Third, it would be a challenge to put into practice all my knowledge that I have formed in my different career courses.    Likewise, I would like to deepen the matter of human rights in the world and in the case of Latin America. That is, from an international approach. I feel that it is too important a subject for human life. It is necessary to promote and defend the human rights of people in all sectors of civil society.   I would love to have the opportunity to study abroad, as it would be a unique experience to grow as a ...

Post 5 - My future job

¡Hi everyone! Political Science is a career that studies government and power relations in a society. The career forms professionals who will stand out for their public vocation, their competence and their responsibility in the political and strategic decision-making process. In my career, my university degree gives me many tools and knowledge to do some work. The labor field is very broad. But, if I had to choose the most ideal, it would be a political advise. I imagine it very interesting because in my daily life I am an active person in direct communication between people. And political advice would help me to work all my academic capacities to advise, in the best way, a person or political institution. Most likely, it will be an indoor and outdoor job since you should carry out research and analyze social situations that contribute to the political and social advance of the consultancy. In this case, I hope to be able to travel enough in Chile to gather information from all the peo...

Post 4 - Tv shows and Series

Hi everyone! Currently, I have a favorite serie, this is called "Merlí" which is disponible on Netflix. This is a Spanish serie and the original language is Catalán. It has four fantastic seasons. In the future there will have a new season for the spin off. Merlí is a dramatic-comedy, where the main character is a philosophy teacher which is named Merlí like the title of this serie. In the plot, he helps the students to think about the life. I like this serie because in the current pandemic this helps to think in my future, like my decisions, friends and love. I would recommend you this serie, as it serves to distract your mind in time of Coronavirus and you will have fun in all the chapters. Also, you will love every character. It's a beautiful and fantastic serie! I have been thinking to see "Grey's Anatomy", but it is really extensive and i don't have time in my life to see it. I hope you will have a good weekend See you!
